Klub Pavillon - KIKK’s pilot project - Namur - Belgium
KIKK opened an exhibition space in Namur (Belgium) in 2022. This space dedicated to the digital experience has increased the association's dependence on public funding. To reduce this dependence, KIKK must develop new private support, based on adherence to a project and its values, and guaranteeing a unique offer to its members.
Raise awareness about sponsorship in digital creativity through the creation of a members' club
Historically, the KIKK Festival, the annual festival of digital and creative cultures, derives its private revenue from ticketing as well as sponsorship.
In 2022, the KIKK inaugurated a new venue: Le Pavillon. Within Le Pavillon, it produces temporary exhibitions primarily intended for the local and national general public and for schools.
The project upholds values and quality content but does not generate the same ticketing as the KIKK Festival for projects that are costly in production and human resources.
Several solutions are underway, such as creating traveling exhibitions funded by successive rentals, developing a horeca area, and the last focus, our pilot project, aims to unite a community of individual and professional patrons around the values of the project (education, awareness, scientific popularization) and a unique content offering.
